Karen Antman
Karen Antman is a professor of medicine and pharmacology, chief of medical oncology and director of Columbia University's Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center. She returned to Columbia, her medical alma mater, in 1993 from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she was associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is widely recognized as one of the nation's leading cancer specialists, with a special interest in breast cancer and sarcoma. She continues to carry a small patient load and to conduct research while she coordinates the research throughout the cancer center.
