Klaus-Peter Beier
Dr.-Ing. Klaus-Peter Beier is director of the University of Michigan's Virtual Reality Laboratory and research scientist in the College of Engineering. He is also an adjunct associate professor in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and is associate director of the Laboratory for Scientific Computation. His areas of research interest include computer-aided engineering, design and manufacturing; geometric modeling; free-form curve and surface design; computer graphics; scientific visualization; and virtual reality.
