Paul Atterbury is a specialist in nineteenth and twentieth-century art and design, with an interest in the history of technology. He was the curator of the Victoria and Albert Museum's Pugin: A Gothic Passion in 1994, and was co-curator of Inventing New Britain: The Victorian Vision (V&A, 2001). Publications include Victorians at Home and Abroad (V&A Publications, 2001).
