In 'The Golden Wedding' (1994), two antique chairs represent a couple posing for their
golden wedding anniversary photograph.
The Golden Wedding
Before our marriage we had our separate lives. Since our wedding photo was taken, much has changed.
In a trice, half a century has passed. It was not easy to share hardship for so long. Yet we are still
who we were.
If we look closely at each other, we can vaguely see what we were like all those years
ago when we were young. Although we now take another picture that records the ravages of time, we have not
really changed. I am still me and you are still you.
