Amy Dunkleberger is an alumnus of the Center for Advanced Film and Television Studies at the American Film Institute and the author of many screenplays, including Other Mothers, a television special for which she won an Emmy Award in 1994. In addition to her screenwriting, Dunkleberger was for many years a staff editor and writer for the multi-volume publication The American Film Institute Catalog of Feature Films.
