Georgina Hogarth's copy of Bleak House. This is the second title page of the same copy of the novel, which Dickens presented to his devoted sister-in-law in December 1853, inscribing it "From her ever affectionate / Charles Dickens." The Dickens Centenary Testimonial stamp would not have been affixed to this page until 1912 (the 100th anniversary of the novelist's birth) or later.
