Emily Jackson is a senior lecturer in law at the London School of Economics. She previously taught at St Catharine's College, Cambridge and Birkbeck College, London. Her principal teaching and research interests are in the field of medical law, with particular emphasis upon the regulation of new technologies. Her most recent publications include Regulating Reproduction (Oxford: Hart Publishing, 2001) and 'Conception and the Irrelevance of the Welfare Principle' (2002) 65(2) Modern Law Review pp. 176-203.
