Dr Tim Forsyth is a lecturer in Environment and Development at the Development Studies Institute, LSE. He has conducted research on tourism and environmental policy in Thailand and in the UK, and is the author of 'Sustainable Toruism: Moving from Theory to Practice,' published by the World Wildlife Fund and Tourism Concern, 1996. In addition, Tim has written on other aspects of international environmental policy and development, and has been a Fellow at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), the Institute of Development Studies, Falmer, and the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He is the author of 'International Investment and Climate Change' (London: Earthscan, 1999), and 'Critical Political Ecology: the Politics of Environmental Science,' (London: Routledge, 2002).
