She has a particular interest in Renaissance, Baroque, and nineteenth-century French art and culture and has contributed to a number of publications in these fields, including Venice, Practitioners and Patrons: Collaboration in the Graphic Arts (1996), Monet at Vétheuil: The Turning Point (1998), and Women Who Ruled: Queens, Goddesses, Amazons in Renaissance and Baroque Art (2002).
