 Anita Prazmowska
Anita Prazmowska
Anita Prazmowska was born in Poland where she completed her secondary education; she obtained her undergraduate degree and Ph.D. in Britain. She is presently Senior Lecturer in the Department of International History at the London School of Economics. She has published widely on Polish foreign policy during the interwar and the wartime period and is presently working on a book about the establishment of Communism in Poland. Dr. Prazmowska is a daughter of a Polish bomber pilot who fought with the Royal Air Force (RAF) during the war and a British plane mechanic. Her background and education have enabled her to see East European history from both perspectives, as an outsider and a Pole.
